Fair Use Policy

Frittu Pro gives you generous AI-powered features for personal cooking use at home. To protect service quality for all users and keep Frittu sustainable, we apply the following fair use limits.

Pro accounts can perform up to 15 scans per day. This resets automatically at midnight. 15 scans covers breakfast, lunch, dinner, and plenty of experimenting — the vast majority of Frittu users never come close to this limit.

Accounts that exceed 150 scans in a calendar month are temporarily limited to 5 scans per day for the remainder of that month. Full access resumes automatically on the 1st of the following month. No action needed on your part.

The following are never affected by fair use limits:

• Saved recipes and favourites
• Dietary preference settings
• Dietary swaps
• Shopping list
• All other Pro features

Cuisine Explorer and Dessert Corner share a single quota that is separate from scan limits. Pro users: 15 calls per day (resets midnight UTC). Free users: 5 calls per month. Every generation — whether you pick a cuisine or a dessert style — counts against this shared quota. The quota indicator inside the Explorer screen shows your remaining allowance for both tabs combined.

Your daily and monthly scan counts are visible in the Frittu app under Profile → Usage.
