By accessing or using Frittu, you confirm that you:

• Are at least 13 years of age
• Have read, understood, and agree to these Terms
• Have read and agree to our Privacy Policy

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use Frittu.

Frittu is an AI-powered mobile application that:

• Analyses photos of food ingredients using computer vision
• Generates personalised recipe suggestions based on your preferences
• Allows you to save recipes, plan meals, and build shopping lists
• Provides optional Pro subscription features

3.1 Account creation You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

3.2 Accurate information You agree to provide accurate information, particularly regarding food allergies and dietary restrictions, as this information directly affects the safety of recipe suggestions made to you.

3.3 One account per person Each person may maintain only one active Frittu account.

You agree not to:

• Use Frittu for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or redistribute the app
• Submit content that is harmful, offensive, or violates third-party rights
• Circumvent any rate limits, quota systems, or access controls
• Use automated means to access the service at a scale beyond normal personal use

5.1 Nature of AI output Recipes and nutritional information generated by Frittu are produced by AI and are provided for informational and inspirational purposes only. They are not professional culinary, medical, or nutritional advice.

5.2 No guarantee of accuracy AI-generated content may contain errors. Ingredient identifications, recipe suggestions, and nutritional estimates should be verified before acting on them, particularly if you have dietary restrictions or health conditions.

5.3 Allergen safety — your responsibility **IMPORTANT:** While Frittu makes every effort to exclude allergens from recipe suggestions based on the allergy information you provide, AI systems can make mistakes. You must:

• Always verify recipe ingredients yourself before cooking
• Never rely solely on Frittu to manage severe food allergies
• Consult medical professionals regarding serious dietary restrictions

6.1 Free tier The free tier of Frittu includes limited scans per month and a limited number of saved recipes. Free tier limits are subject to change with reasonable notice.

6.2 Pro subscription Frittu Pro is a paid subscription offering additional features. Subscription terms, pricing, and billing are governed by our [Subscription Terms](/subscription-terms).

6.3 Apple App Store All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not store payment card information. Refund requests are subject to Apple's refund policies.

7.1 Our content The Frittu app, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

7.2 Your content You retain ownership of photos you submit to Frittu. By submitting a photo, you grant us a limited licence to process it for the purpose of providing the service.

7.3 AI-generated recipes AI-generated recipes are provided to you for personal use. We do not claim ownership of recipe content generated for you.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Accuracy of ingredient identification
• Completeness or correctness of recipes
• Accuracy of nutritional information
• Suitability of recipes for specific dietary needs or medical conditions

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF FRITTU WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING ANY HEALTH CONSEQUENCES ARISING FROM RELIANCE ON AI-GENERATED RECIPES.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from within the app.

Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the app or email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of Frittu after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
