Everything you need to know about Frittu Pro — pricing, billing, cancellation, and refunds.

01Frittu Pro Subscription
What's included A Frittu Pro subscription gives you access to:
- Generous daily scans — up to 15 scans per day for normal household cooking use (fair use applies; see Fair Use Policy)
- 6 recipes per scan — up from 3 on the free tier
- Dietary swaps — 12 swap types including goal-aware swaps (Vegetarian, Dairy-Free, High-Protein, Keto, and more)
- AI ingredient insights — analyse packaged food ingredients for additives and processing level
- Unlimited saved favourites — no cap on recipes you can save
- Recipe Collections — organise saved recipes into named folders
- Meal Planner — plan meals Mon–Sun with weekly macro totals
- Generate shopping list from meal plan — auto-generates your weekly grocery list grouped by aisle
- Generate Weekly Meal Plan — one-tap generation of 12 unique recipes across all 7 days (capped at 2 generations per week)
- Custom meal plan slots — add up to 3 extra named slots per day (e.g. "Pre-workout", "Midnight snack")
- Nutrition Dashboard — full week macro tracking and goal progress
- Cuisine Explorer — up to 15 recipe ideas per day by cuisine (free tier: 5 per month)
- Full scan history — access all past scans (free tier limited to last 3)
Also free for all users (no Pro required) Barcode scanner (macros + ingredients + allergen check), shopping list (3 tabs + per-tab multiplier 1–50), share recipe, cooking streak, dish calorie estimate, photo library upload, and nutrition dashboard — basic view (Progress tab + Planned tab for today and next 2 days) are free for all users regardless of subscription tier.
Feature availability Pro features are subject to change. We will provide reasonable notice before removing features that were available when you subscribed.
02Pricing

Prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable. Pricing for other regions may vary and will be displayed at checkout.
03Billing and Payment
Payment processor Payments are processed by Apple through the App Store (iOS) or Google through Google Play (Android). We do not store or have access to your payment card details.
Billing cycle - **Monthly:** Billed every 30 days from the date of subscription - **Annual:** Billed once per year from the date of subscription
Automatic renewal Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period (Apple ID on iOS, Google account on Android).
Price changes If we change subscription pricing, we will provide at least 30 days notice. Price changes take effect at your next renewal date.
04Free Trial
When a free trial is offered:
- The trial period begins immediately upon confirmation
- You will not be charged during the trial period
- At the end of the trial, your subscription automatically converts to a paid plan unless cancelled beforehand
- Only one free trial per account (Apple ID on iOS, Google account on Android)
05Cancellation
How to cancel Cancel your subscription at any time through: - **iOS:** Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Frittu → Cancel Subscription - **Android:** Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Frittu → Cancel - Neither Apple nor Google allows cancellation through the app itself
Effect of cancellation - You retain Pro access until the end of your current billing period - No partial refunds are issued for unused time within a billing period - After expiry, your account reverts to the free tier — your saved data is retained but Pro-only features become inaccessible
Data retention after cancellation Your saved recipes, meal plans, and scan history remain in your account. You can re-subscribe at any time to regain access to Pro features.
06Refunds
Refund requests are handled by Apple (iOS) or Google (Android) in accordance with their refund policies. We do not process refunds directly.
iOS: To request a refund: 1. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com 2. Sign in with your Apple ID 3. Find the Frittu subscription charge and select "Request a Refund"
Android: To request a refund: 1. Visit play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions 2. Sign in with your Google account 3. Find Frittu and select "Request a refund"
07Restoring Purchases
If you have an active Frittu Pro subscription on another device or have reinstalled the app, tap Restore Purchases on the subscription screen or navigate to Settings → Subscription → Restore Purchases to reinstate your subscription without being charged again.
08Family Sharing
Frittu Pro does not currently support Apple Family Sharing or Google Play Family Library. Each family member requires their own subscription.
09Switching Plans
You can switch between monthly and annual plans at any time. The change takes effect at the start of your next billing period.
