Frittu turns the meals on your plan into one shopping list. Tap Build my shopping list in the meal planner and every recipe's ingredients land in one place, sorted by aisle, with the same ingredient from different recipes added up.
You can also add one recipe's ingredients from the recipe screen, or type items in yourself. Each list scales for 1 to 50 servings, and you can share the list in one tap to a chat, a note or any app you like.
On iPhone and Android. Frittu Pro starts with 7 days free on the monthly plan, once per Apple ID or Google account.
Fill the week in the meal planner yourself, or let Frittu plan it around your goals and allergens.
Tap Build my shopping list. Ingredients are grouped by aisle (produce, dairy, meat, bakery and pantry), and pantry staples sit apart under Check your pantry, so you can look before you buy.
Each list scales from 1 to 50 servings. It starts at the household size you gave when you set up Frittu, and every amount on the list follows it.
Tick items as they go in the trolley. Clear ticked removes what you've bought, and Clear list starts over.
Most grocery list apps start with an empty list for you to fill. Frittu starts from what you're going to cook: the recipes on your meal plan already know their ingredients, so the list writes itself, sorted the way you walk the shop.
Grocery list or shopping list, it's the same thing here: one place for what your week needs, plus anything you add yourself.
Tap share and Frittu sends the list as plain text, aisle by aisle, to any app you choose: a message to your partner, a note, a group chat. Items you've already ticked are left out.
The shared list is a copy. Ticking an item on one phone doesn't change the other person's copy, so share again after you change the list.
The list has three tabs: Recipe for ingredients added from a single recipe, Meal Plan for what your week needs, and Manual for anything you add yourself. Each tab has its own serving size, so scaling one doesn't change the others.
Amounts in the same unit are added together, so two recipes that each need 200 g of chicken read as 400 g. Water and ice are left off.
The list is built from your recipes, and every recipe Frittu generates is generated without the allergens on your profile and checked against your list before you see it. Packaged products can still contain allergens, so scan a product's barcode or label in the shop if you're unsure.
The list comes from the recipes on your plan, so nothing a recipe needs gets forgotten.
Produce, dairy, meat, bakery and pantry, in that order, so one walk through the shop covers it.
Cooking for one, a family or a crowd, every amount follows the serving size you set.
Your list is kept with your Frittu account, ready when you get to the shop.
The shopping list is included with Frittu Pro, which starts with 7 days free on the monthly plan, once per Apple ID or Google account. Your list stays on your account if your subscription ends.
